ALCS Game 6 Recap

The Red Sox have forced game 7 tonight. J.D. finally delivered for the Red Sox, hitting a grand slam in the bottom of the first inning and then driving in another run later in the game. In truth, this game was over after the first inning. Carmona was frazzled after giving up the grand slam, and couldn’t really settle down. Carmona failed to get anybody out in the third inning; he gave up seven runs on six hits and four walks in 2+ innings pitched. On the other hand, Curt Schilling had a gem of a game, improving his postseason record to 10-2. Schilling allowed just two runs and six hits over seven innings. Boston piled it on the Indians in this game, winning it 12-2.
